With end-grain construction that’s as striking as it is useful, this cutting board is designed to resist cuts and scars, plus it’s gentle on your knife. End-Grain construction means the wood fibers are “on-end” and exposed, which allows the wood to absorb blade strikes and then over time the density of the fibers will push back into place. So it will essentially self-heal. This means your butcher block is durable and will keep its eye-catching appearance.

At 3-inches thick, this 18” block is ideal for heavy chopping jobs when it’s imperative your board stays in place. It’s reversible and has carved handle grips, allowing you to mince the garlic and ginger for a stir-fry and then flip the board to the other side to cut lemons for drinks with no flavor transfer.
